I’m Emma, founder of WeaversLoft

I'm a weaver, spinner and knitter who loves using wool and natural fibres to create garments, accessories and homewares. I’ve got a small workshop in Hampshire where we run classes and sell lovely yarn and looms and spinning wheels and other things!

I’ve been knitting since I was a child and I picked up weaving and spinning in my 20’s, I’ve also tried many other crafts along the way and recently had a bit of a fling with macrame and more tapestry weaving.

I love the thought that with a bit of yarn and some imagination (sometimes a bit of patience) you can create something you love or something to give to someone you love. You can change the colour or the shaping on a garment and get something that is truly you, and if it doesn’t go to plan, then rip it back and start again!

My Mission

At WeaversLoft I have a creative space where people can come together to share and indulge in their love of yarns, fibres and learning.

From knitting to weaving, spinning to felting and beyond, we have equipment and classes for you.

Passing on my skills is paramount in what I do from teaching to finding new yarns and equipment for our customers.

I am passionate about the use of natural fibres and where possible our yarns are sourced from British Isles.

When we are open...

The workshop is open every Wednesday evening from 7pm for our knit and knatter group (£6 pay as you go)

We are open for shopping and classes the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10-4.
